Holy Land Souvenirs was established in 1903 by Joseph Tabash, my great-grandfather, who started in Manger Square selling olive wood rosaries, camels, nativity scenes, and other souvenirs. He then started making his olive wood designs and his business was among the earliest known souvenir businesses in Bethlehem.
We are now the third generation in this business, our business now contains hundreds of models of olive wood, mother of pearl, stone, mosaic artworks, and religious jewellery. We ensure that all items in our catalogue are made in Bethlehem and the surrounding villages.
Also included in our website is a free pilgrim’s advice to pilgrims who are planning to visit the holy land.
